Mestalla is not just the home of Valencia Club de Futbol, but also a stadium with a rich and illustrious past. It is Spain’s oldest top flight stadium, but also on the road to being one of the most technologically advanced.
Getting to know it is possible by booking a visit to the Mestalla Forever Tour, a journey behind the scenes of one of the most symbolic stadiums in Spain. A trip throughout its past, present and future.
The tour includes a visit to areas normally reserved for players and officials such as the press room, the squad's dressing room, the tunnel and the trophy room. The main language of guided visits is English, but French and Italian languages are available on request.
The Mestalla Forever Tour also organizes visits for school students of any age (minimum 15 students per group). The tour hosted over 7,000 students in 2014 alone, most of whom came on international trips. The school visits combine insights into the Club and the stadium’s history with a series of educational and fun activities oriented to promote the positive values of sport, such as teamwork and healthy lifestyle.
With an overall 43,000 visits in 2014, the Mestalla Forever Tour is widely regarded as one of Valencia’s top tourist attractions and is one of the top 3 most visited stadia in Spain.
The tour receives visitors from all around the world. Over 50% of the people who visited Mestalla in 2014 were from outside Spain, and 44% of them belonged to European Union countries: mostly Italy, UK and the Netherlands. Outside of the EU, international visits came mostly from the US, Russia and Latin American countries. Everyone is welcome...
