Miguel Angel Angulo

VCF internationals

He scored 79 goals in 13 seasons for Valencia CF, playing a total of 499 games

Angulo joined Valencia CF's second team in the 1995-96 season, having previously played as a midfielder for Sporting Gijon B. After one season in the second division for VCF, he was loaned out for a campaign at Villarreal, where he performed well. This earned up a return to Valencia CF, this time as part of the first team. He excelled as a player almost from the start, starting regularly on the inside right.

Angulo scored 79 goals in 13 seasons for Valencia CF, playing a total of 499 games. Along the way, he won numerous trophies: Two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey, the Spanish Super Cup, one UEFA Cup and one European Super Cup.

In August 2009 he signed for Sporting Lisbon, where he ended his playing career the same year. He currently holds a role at Valencia CF as coach of the Juvenil A side, taking over last season, and is overseeing the team’s campaign in the UEFA Youth League.
