Javi Fuego talks in mixed zone after Rapid Vienna match
"These four consecutive victories increase our level of confidence"
"We faced the game with the seriousness it deserved. We players with fewer minutes started the game, and that's an extra motivation. We must congratulate the team for approaching the match as it should be faced. Every day I feel better, after a more complicated injury than we had anticipated. I thank the physios and medical staff who have been behind me. I'm feeling better and I’m happy to be in the group dynamic again. Now I have to help the team when I play. Football is about streaks. These four consecutive victories increase our level of confidence, but you also have to be happy when players return from injury. We are coming up to a nice run in the calendar and the team are ready for the challenges ahead. Going ahead and managing periods of play is vital for us. The coaching staff are working well and trying to get the ideas across more clearly. We have not done anything big yet, and we expect this to continue moving forward. Any opponent will be difficult, but VCF will also be tough opposition for everyone. Now we have to think about Athletic and go for a fifth straight win."
