Sights set on three points at the Bernabeu

Valencia CF are in the Spanish capital seeking an inspiring victory in their last away game

The Valencia first team have arrived in Madrid aiming to win their final match away from the Mestalla this season at the formidable Santiago Bernabeu. Ayestarán’s players, with the target of finishing as high up the table as possible, are looking for a repeat of the performance in their last away victory against Barcelona 2-1, at the Camp Nou, as they face a Real Madrid side fighting for the La Liga title.

The blanquinegros arrived at 19:00hs at Atocha station in Madrid with a 19-man squad including André Gomes, and headed directly to their usual hotel in the capital. Club representative Juan Cruz led the trip to an overcast Madrid where the temperature was 15 degrees. There were around 30 Valencia fans to meet the team at the entrance of their hotel.
