My name is Costas, 25 and I live in Cyprus.
It all began back in 2004 and only because my family gave me a Valencia CF shirt as a birthday present.
From there I became a big fan of the club and looked at ways to travel to Valencia to watch games but the problem was that it was difficult to get the time and the travel costs were very expensive.
I went to study in La Coruña (north west Spain) in 2013 and that gave me a great chance to go and visit my dream city and maybe meet the Valencia football players!
Unfortunately, though, the only match I was able to see was against Athletic Bilbao and we lost 1-0.
However, something unexpected happened afterwards. While I was at the check-in desk at the departures of Valencia Airport I met the squad and it was one of the greatest moments of my life.
Still, there was another fantastic moment where I saw the team play.
Valencia’s Europa League last 32 away leg against Dynamo Kiev was moved from Ukraine due to civil unrest in the country, and instead it was played in the Cypriot capital Nicosia.
At half-time we had the chance to meet the football squad.
In Cyprus we are generally big football fans and many follow Spanish football. There are 1,000 followers of our Facebook page and we are in close contact with Greek Valencianistas. We try and meet up in bars or pubs for games and especially the big matches.
My dream now is to visit Valencia again.
