The League of Legends team of Valencia CF eSports will face top opponents in Spain after announcing it will be the first side from the LaLiga Santander to participate in the División de Honor of the professional video game league LVP.
This new challenge comes after the League of Legends team made an impressive debut in the Dreamhack Valencia competition where they took second place only five days after the side was assembled.
"We have put together a side ready to win the División de Honor, play the Challenger Series and then from there win the LCS," said eSports manager Sergio Benet.
"For us to take part in the LVP is an important challenge as to win a competition like this would show that we are the strongest team in our country.
"Along with the other sections of eSports, the League of Legends side has the full backing of Valencia CF, which of course motivates us to fight and show courage against everyone."
The blanquinegros have some of the best players in the international game, along with a top notch technical team, which makes them serious contenders for the LVP title.
