Valencia Women held away by Huelva

Octubre, 02 2016 -

Valencia CF Women drew 0-0 against Sporting Club de Huelva in a tight game but where both sides had the chances to win it.

The blanquinegras had more of the ball and linked up well while the home side played a more direct style with most of their chances coming through set-plays.

It was Huelva that started the brighter but Valencia came more into the game as the first half progressed and Zornoza had a shot from distance before other chances fell to Szymanowski and Mari Paz, both better placed, but they failed to break the deadlock.

A goal appeared on the cards with Valencia forcing several corners after the break but also Thais did well in the Huelva goal.

Next up now for Cristian Toro’s side is a home clash against UD Tacuense.
