Febrero, 26 2017 -

VCF Femenino claimed another victory in the Iberdrola Primera División Femenina RFEF, with a 0-5 win against UD Tacuense away from home. Aedo and Mari Paz both got braces in the game, with M.Peiró also putting her name on the scoresheet.

The opening goal came 22 minutes into the game, after VCF Femenino had dominated the early going. A shot from Ivana was parried away, but Aedo was able to follow up for her first official goal for the team and make it 0-1.

Three minutes later, Mari Paz doubled the advantage with a header, amidst a spell of chances for UD Tacuense. The home side would even have a penalty just past the half hour mark, but Endler was able to save Patri's spot kick and keep the 0-2 advantage going into halftime.

After the break, VCF Femenino enjoyed several opportunities to extend their advantage, bursting forward continuously in search of goal number three.

When the goals arrived, they did so courtesy of the same scorers as in the first half. First, Aedo latched onto a Carol pass and converted to make it 0-3. Three minutes after that, Mari Paz got her seventh goal of the season and put the game beyond all doubt.

On as a substitute in the 80th minute, in the 81st M.Peiró found the net to complete the rout in the Canary Islands. Making the most of their ample chances, VCF Femenino took a well-deserved three points from their game against the newly promoted side.
