VCF Femenino cruise over Santa Teresa 2-0

Valencia CF Femenino hosted Santa Teresa on Matchday 24 in LaLiga Iberdrola at the Antonio Puchades at 4:00 pm.VCF Femeninio cruised to a 2-0 win over Santa Teresa thanks to Aedo and Claudia Zornoza. This result keeps VCF Femeneino in the upper echelons of the table.

VCF Femenino started on the front foot following a great combination between Joyce and Estefania Banini. A minute later Mari Paz Vilas hit the woodwork with a terrific header from a flick on. On 5 minutes, Mari Paz Vilas had a one on one situation but the opposition keeper rushed off her line and blocked her shot.

On 11minutes, Gio Carreras shot was cleared off the line following a great Aedo delivery. A minute later, VCF Femenino had another chance on goal as Joyce sent a teasing ball but Mari Paz did not meet it.

On 22 minutes Yanara A edo fired off the bar. Six minutes later Mari Paz had another glaring chance on goal as she hooked it on the turn but the keeper stopped it. On 33 minutes, VCF Femenino keeper produced a magnificent stop to deny Maddi's header following a free kick.

On 38 minutes,Yanara Aedo scored the opener from point blank range following a magnificent move between Joyce and Banini down the left flank. The first half finished as it had started Mari Vilas on the end of a cross nodding her effort into the crossbar.

The second half started with a whirlwind of chances for VCF Femenino.  On 47 minutes, Mari Paz played it back into Cynthia who sent her effort whistling over the bar. Two minutes later, the opposition keeper pushed away Aledo’s headed attempt.

On 65 minutes, the opposition keeper denied Claudia Zornoza the second goal of the game pushing her powerful effort behind for a corner. Four minutes later, Mari Paz came close to scoring as she tried to chip the keeper from range.

On 71 minutes, Claudia Zornoza  got her reward following a great Banini forward pass that Zornoza dispatched into the back of the net to double the lead for VCF Femenino.

On 88 minutes, Carolina Férez had the last meaningful effort on goal as she went past the defender and fired off over the bar.

VCF Femenino stay third on 55 points ahead of the international break.VCF Femenino will visit Atlético Feminas on Matchday 25 in Liga Iberdrola.
