A win and three points the target to move up the table

The VCF first team are in Vigo, having arrived at 7.30pm on Saturday night with the aim of picking up three points and moving up the table with their clash against Celta Vigo in Balaidos stadium on Sunday.

Under Cesare Prandelli, Valencia have picked up a win and a draw in their two matches away from Mestalla but they will be without Enzo Pérez, Jose Luis Gayà and Bakkali for this game in Galicia. It is the second away match in succession following the draw also in the North West of Spain away to Deportivo la Coruña, and Celta also have injury concerns but they do have Iago Aspas on a hot streak in attack.

The team received a warm reception at Vigo airport and at their hotel with over 30 fans turning up. The expedition is led by chairwoman Layhoon Chan, director Kim Koh, new board members Anil Murthy and Juan Sol and sports director Jesús García Pitarch.
