VCF Mestalla gunning for Gavà on Matchday 30

VCF Mestalla are in away action against CF Gavà this weekend, as they travel to La Bóbila to take on the Catalan side on Matchday 30 of the season. The game kicks off at 12pm on Sunday, and is an opportunity for the team to continue adding points to their tally in Segunda División B Grupo III.

Curro Torres' men come into the match off the back of a last-gasp victory against Mallorca B, thanks to Nacho Gil's late strike. They now chase a sixth away win of the season and aim to move up into third place in the table -for which they are currently tied with Badalona on 51 points.

Gavà lost on Matchday 29 against Llagostera (1-0) and are 16th in the division with 32 points.

Returning for VCF Mestalla is Aridai, who scored against Gavà in the first meeting this season and is back after serving a one-match ban. Nacho Vidal will not be available due to his suspension. Gavà are without John Neeskens, who was sent off against Llagostera.

The last encounter between the two sides ended 4-1 at the Antonio Puchades, and a repeat of that result would be ideal on the day of Fallas in Valencia.
