VCF Mestalla chase return to winning ways against Sabadell

VCF Mestalla's hectic schedule continues with an away game in the Segunda División B Grupo III this weekend. They take a trip to the outskirts of Barcelona for Matchday 32, and a 5pm Sunday kick-off against Sabadell.

Curro Torres' men come into the game with the desire to put the heavy defeat at home against Barcelona B last weekend behind them, and have good recent form against Sabadell. They beat the Catalan side 0-2 at the Nova Creu Alta last season.

With just seven games to go in the current campaign, VCF Mestalla have some of the best numbers in the competition: 15 wins, 9 draws and just 7 losses in 30 league games. They have a total of 54 points and have held third place in the table for the past eight matchdays.

Sabadell drew 1-1 against Llagostera last weekend. The result means that they are thirteenth in the division with 37 points -only 5 above the relegation zone that currently stands at 32 points.

Curro Torres has all his squad available for the game, with goalkeeper Antonio Sivera returning to the fold after his first experience with the Spanish Under-21s team. Sabadell also have all of their players fit and free from suspension for the contest.

The Nova Creu Alta will witness an interesting duel between the third and thirteenth placed sides in the Segunda División B Grupo B, with conflicting ambitions and motivation to return to winning ways.
