VCF Mestalla welcome UE Llagostera at Antonio Puchades on Matchday 33

VCF Mestalla host UE Llagostera at the Estadio Antonio Puchades this Saturday, in a 6pm kickoff for their Matchday 33 encounter. The team remain third in Segunda División B Grupo III, thanks in part to a home record that has seen them take nine victories at home so far this term.

The two sides met earlier this season in a 1-1 draw at the Nou Estadi de Palamós, and Curro Torres’ side come into the game off the back of the same result last weekend, away from home to Sabadell.

UE Llagostera won on Matchday 32 against Atletico Levante, and are battling to break clear of the relegation places. They lie fifteenth in the table with 37 points, just 6 above the drop zone.

Sergio Ayala is unavailable for VCF Mestalla through suspension, following his sending off against Sabadell, and a fifth yellow card of the season for Fran Villalba in that game means he also misses the match. UE Llagostera are without the suspended Carlos Albarrán.

VCF Mestalla’s positive season has brought them 15 wins so far, and they look to make that 16 this weekend.
