VCF Mestalla face their next “final” this Sunday at the Nueva Condomina

They go into the game with a 2-1 lead from the first leg and fully intend to go through to the third round of the play-offs for promotion to la Liga 1|2|3

After the valuable 2-1 Valencianista win in the first leg, VCF Mestalla have a crucial game in Murcia this Sunday at 7pm. They’ll do everything possible to defend the lead they take with them to the Nueva Condomina, and will be looking to book their ticket for the third and final round of the play-offs for promotion to la Liga 1|2|3. It’s a match which will see a huge away following; the Blanquinegro fans are fully behind the young side.

VCF Mestalla continue to break records and they go into this tough game in their best form of the season. Curro Torres’ side have won their three games so far in the play-offs, and are the top scorers with 8 goals in the 3 games, a stat which they’ll try to add to on Sunday in Murcia, at the same time as defending the lead so that their promotion dream can stay alive.

However, Real Murcia won’t be making it easy for the Valencianista B team. Vicente Mir’s side know they’ll need to score and avoid conceding, and they’ll have big support at a packed Nueva Condomina. In the first round Real Murcia drew at home against Pontevedra (1-1), a result which would take VCF Mestalla through to the final round of the play-offs.

It’s going to be a battling and competitive game for the full 90 minutes, and VCF Mestalla will have all squad members available for it after Marc Ferris and Javi Jiménez were passed fit.

This Sunday at 7pm will see the latest “final” at the Nueva Condomina, between the third placed team in Segunda B Group III and the second placed team in Group IV. The game will be broadcast live on VCF Radio 101.5FM and via the official website, and it will also be televised on GOL.
