Gonçalo Guedes picks up his  first Valencia CF branv

The game started off at a high tempo at both ends with Valencia CF dictating tempo from the opening minute, pushing them back into their own half with a lightning link up play down the wings when Carlos Soler or Guedes were on the ball with a solid backline.

Valencia CF swarmed forward into the opposition box as minutes went by, applying pressure on Sevilla CF who were restricted to a few long-rage shots. The first meaningful chance fell to Carlos Soler who hit a swerving shot that went a whisker wide of the far post, later on Zaza tried his luck with a forceful attempt which went whistling past the post, Sergio Rico collected Gayà delivery as Guedes was about to meet it, the string of chances kept on coming, Rodrigo went the spectacular Following a Carlos Soler cross after beating his marker.

Persistence paid dividends on 42 minutes,  Guedes picked up the ball and raced forward, cut inside  two  markers and hits a top –corner strike past the keeper which sent the Mestalla crowd into overdrive.

A much buoyed Valencia CF came out in the second half and five minutes into the second half, the best player for the month of September grabbed his goal with a magnificent left footer across the keeper to double the lead.

The goals galore at Mestalla, Santi Mina sprung off the bench and Guedes delivered a sumptuous ball into Santi who made no mistake and put the ball in the back of the net to make it three for Valencia CF .

Guedes rounded off the scoreline deep  into stoppage time  with another stunner  much to the delight of the Mestalla  crowd who were in full spirits and roared the team to the victory.
