Jaume and Noe, alongside Valencia CF DI in LaLiga Genuine

The tournament kicks off this Friday between 18 Clubs

This Friday LaLiga Genuine kicks off, a ground-breaking football tournament consisting of 18 DI teams (people with learning disabilities) which Valencia CF are going to actively take part in with their DI team which is led by the VCF Foundation. As a build-up ahead of the start of the LaLiga Genuine, they received a special surprise at VCF Training Ground: Jaume Doménech and Noelia Bermúdez, VCF keepers gave them a few support and congratulating messages for them to make the most of the experience of playing a football tournament representing Valencia CF.

The VCF Foundation is working with the DI group since the 2011.12 and their commitment towards it has steadily grown, to the point of becoming one of the sides taking part in LaLiga Genuine.

The 2017/2018, Laliga Genuine consists of 18 Clubs: Athletic Clubs: Club, RCD Espanyol, Atlético Madrid, RC Deportivo La Coruña, Real Sociedad, Valencia CF, CA Osasuna, Villarreal CF, RC Celta  Vigo, UD Las Palmas, Levante UD, CF Reus, Nàstic  Tarragona, RCD Mallorca, Girona FC, Córdoba CF, SD Huesca and  Rayo Vallecano.

The tournament will be played in four stages the opening from the 6th to  October 8th in Vila-Real; from the 19th to the 21st of January in Tarragona from the 13th to the 15thof April and the final stage will be played in Vigo from the 8th to the 10th of June. It is an 8-a-side football tournament, in terms of the results are not the only thing that counts but the attitudes as well,   for that reason, the teams will have a series of points that  will be awarded for sportsmanship and fair play actions from players, coaches and sets of fans.
