The president's message from the shareholder's meeting as reported by the media.

The opening message by club president, Anil Murthy, at the annual Valencia CF shareholder's meeting, has been heavily covered in all media outlets, as shareholders supported the club's budgeting balance sheet. Club president, Anil Murthy, reiterated how “no-one in Valencia came forward to save their own club”, and furthered that there are no violent supporters at Mestalla, pointing out that Meriton inherited no legal obligation to finish the Nuevo Mestalla stadium, but that they would anticipate finishing the ground, ready for the 2021/22 LaLiga season.

TV station Cuatro reported via their website how Valencia CF shareholders backed the proposed budgets presented at the annual Valencia CF shareholder's meeting staged on Friday.

Sport's daily Superdeporte, focused on president Anil Murthy's observation relating to the arrival of Meriton in 2014: “Sentimentality didn't save this club, it was hard cash that saved the football club from disappearing towards the end of 2014. No-one in Valencia came forward to save their own club”.

News daily El Mundo focused on the information shared by the president with the gathered shareholders, showing his complete and total rejection to the presence of violent supporters at Mestalla.

On-line portal Deporte Valenciano focused on the Nuevo Mestalla stadium, highlighting that Meriton would terminate the construction process and see it open for business despite not having any obligation to do so.

Online El Desmarque published information relating to the building situation relating to Nuevo Mestalla, and the comments from president  Anil Murthy, in the annual shareholder's meeting that he hoped the stadium would be operative for the 2021/22 season.
