Maksimovic responds to Marcelino's trust with a great performance and getting himself off the mark

Maksimovic has been a regular in the starting line-up every time that Valencia CF have played a Copa del Rey  game as Marcelino himself highlighted Makismovic is more adapted and settled in to the competition and the Serbian midfielder rewards that confidence with good performances on the pitch. The fans gave him a standing ovation as he sauntered off the pitch to be replaced by Parejo bearing in mind that he might feature as a starter at Riazor.

With a 90% pass completion the Serbian footballer got himself ahead of Kondogbia and had well-rounded tactical performance by applying pressure and reacting quickly after losing possession and making professional fouls. The Serbian footballer put the icing on the cake with  a cross–strike right footer from outside the area  to get himself off the mark in a Valencia CF shirt. Last season he grabbed two goals with FC Astana.
