The head-to-head battles to look out for in Valencia CF vs Levante UD

Guedes vs Morales

The two are key to their team’s styles of play and are tough to stop, as shown by the 39 fouls that Guedes has suffered, with Morales subject to 22. The two players have scored four goals apiece in LaLiga, although the Valencia CF wide man has provided six assists in comparison to the Levante UD man’s three. Morales has drove forward on more dribbling runs (93) than Guedes (55), however. Both players like to try and beat their man, as shown by Morales being involved in 236 one-on-ones compared to Guedes’ 190, but the Levante UD star has played 520 minutes more than the Portuguese.

Gabriel Paulista vs Postigo

In defence, Gabriel Paulista will be starting, as will Sergio Postigo. The Valencia CF central defender has made 90 ball recoveries in LaLiga, with the Levante UD man making 77. Postigo has made more clearances than his opponent (104 to 78), and he has also cut out more passes (28 to 27). Despite both players primarily helping out in defence, they can also be a threat in front of goal. The Brazilian has had 11 attempts, compared to Postigo’s three.

Zaza vs Boateng

Boateng arrives at Mestalla after scoring his first LaLiga goal against Real Madrid after 17 shots, while Zaza his netted 10 from his 35 shots for the season. The Italian striker has completed more dribbles than his opponent (27 to 9), as well as delivering the most crosses into the box (5 to 2). The two are going to battle to the best of their abilities to try and help their respective teams take the victory this evening, and if they can score goals to help the cause, all the better.
