Rosales vs Gaya
Both full backs are key to how their respective sides mount their attacks. Roberto Rosales has scored one goal, which Gaya is yet to match in LaLiga, but the Valencia CF left back has three assists to his name. Gaya has completed 31 dribbles, compared to Rosales’ 23, but the Malaga right back has put more crosses into the box (72 to 66). In defence, Gaya has blocked seven shots, with Rosales managing six.
Roberto vs Neto
The two goalkeepers on show at La Rosaleda will be Roberto and Neto, with both players having plenty of experience at the top level. Valencia CF’s shot stopper has conceded 25 goals across 22 matches, which is nine less than his counterpart. Both have saved a penalty, and both have made 10 punched clearances. Neto is currently the goalkeeper who has made the second-most saves in the division (72), but Roberto is close behind him (70).
Adrian vs Carlos Soler
Two players that will have a big influence in trying to create opportunities for their sides will be Carlos Soler and Adrian Gonzalez. Both midfielders have scored a goal apiece in LaLiga, but Valencia CF’s young star has four assists compared to Adrian’s zero. The Malaga CF midfielder has made more passes (722 to 500), but Soler dominates in terms of offensive stats. He has made more crosses into the box (26 to 11), has dribbled more (31 to 9) and has had more shots (26 to 19).
