Parejo: "The fans must know that they also win games"

Valencia CF captain, Dani Parejo is conscious of the importance of the six  home games left where, "our fans win games".

Valencia CF have six home games left to play to get back to Champions League action next season and they will need the home fanbase behind the team on Sunday against Real Betis at  8.45 pm. The home games will be key to close out the season in the higher reaches of LaLiga table.

Valencia CF captain Dani Parejo is certain in an interview with VCFplay: “At Mestalla, nobody can come and take whatever they want. Our fanbase has a significant role to play, we’ve got to get forward alongside the fans, creating a really positive atmosphere so that things go our way. Having the Mestalla crowd pushing us on will be really important for us. Our fans must know that they win games and give us points. They have to give us that extra, us first and then they’ve got to help us play along.”

Sunday’s game against Real Betis draws a three-game week to a close, where Valencia CF got a win against Real Sociedad, a valuable point away at Athletic and the final game where the team only want to get the win. It is a tough aim, but with the Mestalla crowd’s support, they will edge closer to it “We’ve got six finals left to play at Mestalla to achieve a really nice aim which we’ve been fighting for all season. There’s the final push left and everybody’s effort, each person filling up Mestalla gives us an extra and the opposition can feel it.“
