He is the third footballer whose goals have delivered more LaLiga points
Valencia CF’s Hispano-Brazilian forward Rodrigo Moreno is on fine form in front of goal this season.Rodrigo picked up his 12th LaLiga goal to tally this season becoming Valencia CF’s leading goalscorer, one over fellow forward Santi Mina on 11 and two over Simone Zaza on 10.
Rodrigo Moreno netted his first LaLiga brace for Valencia CF at the Ramón-Sánchez Pizjuán, he is on 15 goals to tally across all competitions but his 12 LaLiga goals have also delivered points (12) for Marcelino’s side leaving him as the third LaLiga player who has picked up the most match-winning goals behind Iago Aspas for RC Celta and RCD Espanyol, (14).Rodrigo's best goalscoring season saw him pick up 18 goals to tally he is on 15 so far this season and he is on course to breaking his best goalsoring tally.
Rodrigo’s goals have handed Valencia CF all three points across seven fixtures. Rodrigo ticked off Sevilla FC from the list of LaLiga teams who have fished a Rodrigo finish out of the back of the net. There are only six teams left for him to get off the mark against Atletico Madrid, Girona, SD Eibar, Villareal and RCD Espanyol.
Rodrigo’s brace away at Sevilla FC was his 11th brace in his professional career. He notched a few at Benfica, three in the 2013/14 season in the Europa League versus AZ Alkmaar, CS Maritimo in the Portuguese league and Gil Vicente in the Portuguese Cup.
In the 2012/13 campaign, he scored two goals versus Vitoria Setúbal and in the Portuguese cup at Desportivo Aves; and in the 2011/12 campaign, he grabbed a double in the league against Olhanense, Uniâo de Leiria, and CD Nacional, in addition to the cup brace against Marítimo.
