The VCF Academy sides take on the Evergrande Football School at Paterna

Three sides from the Evergrande Football School in Madrid with its headquarters in Guangzhou (China), paid a visit to the VCF Paterna Training Ground to take on VCF’u14’s, 15’s, and 16’s. On occasion of VCF U16’s recent visit to China has seen a response from the Evergrande Football School a pool of talent for the new Chinese future prospects.

The players took in the great football complex and the pleasant weather conditions as they were welcomed by the VCF Academy director, Luis Vicente Mateo and the Academy Coordinator, Sergio Ventosa that hosted the invitees.

They played three games which saw the Evergrande U14’s and VCF U14’s finished goalless, VCF  U15’s took a 3-0 win over  Evergrande U15’s  Darío, Olmedo and Jacob on the scoresheet and the  VCF U16’s finished two apiece with Oscar and Ferran Giner amongst the goals.

Former Atletico Madrid player Fresnedoso the Evergrande Football Academy sporting director was amongst the party of visiting members José Aurelio Gay, Iván Pérez, Óscar Mena, Guillermo Trama, Armando de la Morena and Jorge Murga as coaching staff. Santiago Lozano, Juan Piñero y Diego Muriarte as fitness coach Andrés Marinangeli and Ángel Rochas as goalkeepers coach. On the other hand, the VCF Academy director, Luis was delighted by the Evergrande Football Academy visit.

“It’s a way to learn how other football academies work and the Evergrande Football Academy is a significant one worldwide and it’s also a good way for them to learn about our working methodology with the VCF youth ranks of a great club as well as checking out our facilities. It’s a really positive relationship for both institutions”, said Luis Vicente Mateo.
