Valencia CF played versus Juventus FC in the Allianz stadium at 21:00 (local time on matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League. Valencia CF had a slow start but it was Cristiano Ronaldo who had the first chance of the match which was saved by Neto Murara.

Juventus had much of the ball and the while Valencia CF looked to counter. Daniel Wass had the first chance for Valencia CF in the 27th minute but his shot went wide.

The match continued with a higher intensity but Valencia CF had the best chance of the match at the end of the half from a corner kick by Dani Parejo. Mouctar Diakhaby guided it with power but Wojciech Szczesny was equal to it in the 45th minute of the match.

The first half between Juventus FC and Valencia CF at the Allianz stadium finished scoreless at halftime.

Both teams made a substitution at half-time, Kevin Gameiro replaced Rodrigo and Alex Sandro was replaced by Cuadrado. Valencia CF also had a good start but Juventus made it 1-0 after a run and pass by Cristiano Ronaldo that was pushed in by Mario Mandukic in the 59th minute.

Mouctar Diakahby sent it in after a corner kick in the 63rd minute of the match but his goal did not stand and he was shown the yellow card for using his hand.

Michy Batshuayi as Valencia CF kept on trying to make it 1-1 but Juventus had the chances and the possession in the second half with just one shot by Carlos Soler from outside the area in the 82nd minute.

The match between Juventus FC and Valencia CF finished 1-0 to Juventus. The result at Old Trafford (1-0) meant that they exit the UEFA Champions League. Valencia CF will travel to the capital to play versus Real Madrid on Saturday at 20:45 in the Bernabeu on matchday 14 of LaLiga Santander.
