Match Report Valencia CF U19 vs MUFC U19 (2-1)

Valencia CF U19 and Manchester United 19 had a great start with both teams trying to get the win. Jordi Escobar and Fran Pérez had the first clear-cut chances for Valencia CF U19 and Burkart for Manchester United.

Fran Cortijo gave a great pass to Jordi Escobar who side-stepped his man brilliantly and sent a great shot between the keeper’s legs in the 13th minute of the match to give Valencia CF the lead.

Bernard kept it 1-0 with a great shot to a Barlow United low shot and over 30-minute mark Burkart made it 1-1. Five minutes later Barlow gave Manchester United the lead from inside the area.

Valencia CF trailed 1-2 at halftime.

Valencia CF came out in the second half looking to make it 2-2 but they were denied by the keeper and the crossbar. Miguel Ángel made three switches introducing Martín Lapeña, Gerard Moya and Xavi Estacio.

Valencia CF U19   had another two clear-cut chances through Esquerdo shot which grazed the post in the 70th minute and Iñaki who failed to head it past the keeper.  Valencia CF U19 exit the UEFA Youth League with a 1-2 loss.
