The company, which operates in more than 600 cities around the world, arrived in Valencia in January. It offers Valencianistas an innovative mobility alternative for travelling to Mestalla
Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Uber for the company to become the Club's new Mobility and Innovation Partner, joining the companies that collaborate with the Centenary project. The agreement was signed this morning by Valencia CF president Anil Murthy and Marko Setti, Uber's Marketing Director for Southwest Europe.
Among the objectives for the agreement between Valencia CF and Uber is improving the experience of fans travelling to Mestalla or other stadiums in Spain and Europe, such as Seville, where the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final takes place against Real Betis this Thursday, or Glasgow (Scotland), where Valencia CF will play the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Last 32 tie against Celtic.
The company will also have a presence in the advertising media at the stadium and will collaborate with Valencia CF in various activations throughout the year.
Anil Murthy, Valencia CF President: "We are delighted to welcome Uber to Valencia and we are convinced that together we will improve mobility not only around Mestalla, but throughout the city."
Marko Setti, Uber Marketing Director for Southwest Europe: "We want to celebrate our recent arrival in Valencia by collaborating with one of the most important symbols of the city. We are very excited to share the passion of the Valencian people in a year as special as the Centenary."
Uber was founded in 2010 to solve a simple problem: How to get a car with a click? More than 10 billion trips later, they continue to create products to change the way people, and food, move around our cities.
