The defender was happy with his performance in the 0-0 draw at Mestalla
Winter loan signing Facundo Roncaglia made his Valencia CF debut in the 0-0 draw against Real Sociedad, putting in an impressive display in the defence to help his side to a clean sheet.
The versatile new arrival played from the start, and was accompanied by international teammate Ezequiel Garay -alongside whom he also debuted with Argentina in 2013- in the centre of the back line. He also almost scored on 68 minutes, when he headed a Dani Parejo corner wide.
After the final whistle, he gave his impressions of his maiden appearance for his new club, saying that "I felt good; we created enough chances on goal to have taken the three points, and we have to take that away from this game and keep working. I'm happy on a personal level."
"My teammates helped me a lot, and gave me the confidence to have a good game. We created a lot of chances and the ball just didn't want to go in today. However, if we continue this way then we'll have more joy than sadness," said the new signing.
"We have to to thank the fans who came to Mestalla. They supported us and gave us strength throughout the 90 minutes."
